Nicholas Starkey, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at Michigan State University. Dr. Starkey also obtained the rank of Sergeant and received training as a Radiology Technologist and Combat Medical Specialist (EMT-B) while serving in the U.S. Army between 1997-2003. He studied Biology at Monterey Peninsula College and California Polytechnic State University and was granted early admission to medical school one year before obtaining his bachelor's degree. Upon completion of his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University (2010) he was granted the Division of Integrated Medicine's Chairman's Award. He completed a combined radiology internship and residency from the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) – Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital (2015). He is dual-fellowship trained in both MRI (focusing on Breast, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology and Body MRI, 2016) and Breast Imaging (2017) from Michigan State University.
