Research Interests

  1. Theranostic molecular imaging of transplanted pancreatic islets and endogenous beta cells for type 1 diabetes treatment.
  2. The creation of image-guided stem cell therapies for diabetes, liver dysfunction and cardiovascular diseases.
  3. The expansion of new molecular imaging methods to monitor transplanted cells for diabetes, liver diseases and cancer.
