Dr. van Holsbeeck, M.D., Top Radiologist

Congratulations to Dr. Lodewijk van Holsbeeck for being awarded the Top Radiologist award by Best Doctors in 2019.


Lodewijk van Holsbeeck, M.D., is an established Radiologist here at MSU Radiology who features over eight years of experience in his field. Dr. van Holsbeeck's acclaimed career in medicine began in 2009 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. After an internship at Henry Ford Hospital, he completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to his practice as a musculoskeletal and pediatric radiologist, Dr. van Holsbeeck serves as an Assistant Professor here at the University, where a component of his time is dedicated to teaching ultrasound to the medical students at the College of Human Medicine. He also hopes to pursue research of high school and collegiate athletes in the region.

 

Dr. van Holsbeeck is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and provides expert diagnoses for a wide range of cancers and related diseases in patients of all ages. He has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients, and is committed to enhancing their quality of life. Moreover, he is specialized in both musculoskeletal and pediatric imaging, having completed a dual fellowship at the University of Michigan. These specializations serve him well, allowing him to focus on his passion — sports imaging of adolescent athletes. Presently, Dr. van Holsbeeck continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients within the Michigan State University and Greater Lansing areas.
