John M. Fitzsimmons, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Depauw University in 1992. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1998. He interned in family practice at Bon Secours Hospital in Gross Pointe, Michigan. He then came to Michigan State University as an assistant professor in anatomy in the fall of 2000. He is currently teaching medical gross anatomy and coordinates several residency basic science courses in anatomy through the Statewide Campus System.
