Arlene Sierra, M.P.A.

Arlene Sierra, M.P.A. is Assistant Chairperson and Director of Clinical Services in the Michigan State University Radiology Department and Acting Chairperson, of the MSU Pathology Department. She has been associated with the University, since 1972. She completed a Masters in Public Administration in Health. Throughout her career, Mrs. Sierra has served on numerous medical and academic committees on a local, national and international basis. She currently is a Director on the Board for Mid-Michigan MRI, Inc. A current focus of her medical career is mammography and women's health care issues. In 1990, she co-authored a book entitled "Screening mammography: Breast Cancer Diagnosis in Asymptomatic Women," published by the Mosby Company. She is also involved in medical research projects involving Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Mrs. Sierra has been a business and medical consultant to numerous private and public entities within the United States. In March 2000, Arlene returned from her third visit as a medical consultant to the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Medical College for Girls and Al Ain Medical School, Abu Dhabi.
