Dr. Potchen completed fellowship training in neuroradiology at Duke University and serves as one of four MSU specialists with these expertise. He is certified with the American Board of Radiology (1993) with sub-specialty certification in Neuroradiology (1996). He presently serves as program director for the Eastern Radiology Society’s continuing medical education program and director and program chairperson for Creative Concepts --an annual meeting of leaders in academic medicine and industry to address clinical applications of technological advances in the field. Dr. Potchen interprets all radiological imaging modalities, but has particular interest in MRI neuroimaging. Dr. Potchen provides inpatient services through the Sparrow Health Systems. Dr. Potchen’s outpatient work is based at Michigan State University in addition to several other contractual arrangements.
