Ronald A. Meyer, Ph.D.
Professor of Physiology and Radiology, received his doctorate in 1980 from SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. After postdoctoral training in Physiology at Harvard Medical School, he served as Associate Clincial Staff Member at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA, where he focused on the development of NMR spectroscopic and imaging methods for the study of tumor biology. Dr. Meyer joined the faculty at Michigan State University in 1986. His current research focuses on the development of novel MRI methods for the study of dynamic physiological processes in skeletal muscle and other tissues.
