Career Paths in Radiology

At the conclusion of high school, you could be eligible for an associate or certificate program in Radiologic Technology, these individuals actually take the radiographs. You may also be eligible for programs in Ultrasound Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology or MRI Technology depending on the program. A web search on any of these should bring you links to facilities near to your home. You may also check the Lansing Community College website for a more in depth explanation and information regarding their Radiologic Technology Program.

If you are a college graduate, possibilities include all of the above as well as business careers in the management of a radiology department.

If you are currently in medical school, please direct your browser to the ACGME website for links to MD residencies. Search for the American College of Osteopathic Radiology (AOCR) if you are in an osteopathic program.
