Faculty and Staff

Mandy Clark, MS, RD, CSSD joined the staff of the Sport and Cardiovascular Nutrition Program in the Fall of 2007 as a PhD student in Human Nutrition and Kinesiology. Mandy graduated with a BS in Nutrition and a Minor in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University in 1999 and was also a member of the Penn State Dance Team. In 2001 Mandy completed the Combined Master of Science and Dietetic Internship Program at Texas A&M University. Mandy is currently a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Board Certified Specialist in Sport Dietetics (CSSD). Her professional experiences include most recently serving as the Clinical & Sport Dietitian at Princeton University (2005-2007) through the University’s Health Services, and prior to that was the Sport Nutritionist for Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Notre Dame (2003-2005). Other professional experiences have included working as the Staff Registered Dietitian at HealthTrack Sports and Wellness Center in Glen Ellyn, IL (2002-2003) and as an Associate Nutrition Therapist for private nutrition counseling practices specializing in the treatment and recovery of clients struggling with disordered eating and eating disorders (2007). Mandy’s previous research has focused on the dietary intake and performance of female collegiate soccer players and her future research interests include athletes and eating disorders and the Female Athlete Triad.
