Second Prize at OMED18
Congratulations to: Alex Jordan Meisel, OMS II; he won a 2nd (second) prize at OMED18 for his work in the Prosection/Gross Anatomy Labs.
The official name is Second Prize American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Research Focus Track Student Prize Competition which was awarded at the Osteopathic Medical Education Conference (OMED) in San Diego, California, USA.
The project is titled Repair and Maintenance of the Cadaver Donor. The Michigan State University Faculty Advisor was Dr. Loro L. Kujjo. The funding support was thanks to the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) of the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) and the COM Office of Research Development.
Alex's project involved unprecedented repair and maintenance of anatomical specimens (cadavers and parts). He is developing a protocol to use various techniques including surgical procedures.
